Druga edycja konkursu Orient Lab – deadline 9 listopada

Wyniki pierwszego etapu konkursu ogłosimy 13 listopada 2019 r..
Finał konkursu odbędzie się w Muzeum Azji i Pacyfiku 22 listopada 2019 r.

Formularz zgłoszeniowy (do pobrania poniżej) należy wysłać na adres orientujsiewouw@gmail.com do dnia 9.11.2019 r., do godz. 23:59.

The Association of PhD Students “Orientuj się!” and The Asia and Pacific Museum are delighted to invite you to the second edition of the Orient Lab competition.

Orient Lab, inspired by similar competitions held all around the world, is addressed to PhD candidates and graduate students, and aims to popularise academic research related to Asia and Africa.

Orient Lab allows young researchers to test themselves and present their work before the general public. As scholarly projects are increasingly funded by grants, the ability to clearly formulate ideas and present them to both academic and non-academic audience is becoming indispensable to every researcher. Each participant will only have 5 minutes to impress the Jury and the audience.

The competition is divided into 3 categories:

PhD Category – Polish Speakers,
PhD Category – English Speakers,
Student Category (for MA programmes attendants).

Note: MA and Phd students must be registered at a Polish university.

We are waiting for your applications until November 9, 2019.
The results of the first stage of the competition will be announced on November 13, 2019.
The final of the competition will be held at the Asia and Pacific Museum on November 22, 2019.
